SUMMARY:
Prep and deliver OEM new model vehicles to the Media for testing. Present vehicle features and highlights as requested; company training will be provided. Deliver vehicles and support events and auto shows in the NE region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:        

  • Maintain and manage the care and logistics of client-owned vehicle fleets, equipment and materials in excellent working order, care and condition.

  • Maintain the operations facility.

  • Assist with vehicle preparation, loan pick-up and delivery logistics.

  • Train on vehicle knowledge and presentation abilities for individual vehicle models required for lifestyle and social media vehicle walk-around presentations in compliance with DriveShop training guides. Adhere to any client specific requirements (e.g., prep, presentation, paperwork, etc.).

  • Comply with periodic drug screening, DMV and background checks.

  • Assist with shipping and receiving materials to/from regional office locations.

  • Assist with receipt/shipment /activation and turn-in of new vehicles per client protocol.

  • Assist with fleet office operations and event production support as needed.

  • Perform work on weekends and evenings to meet applicable deadlines, when needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) is a plus but not required. High School or equivalency acceptable. 1 or more year’s experience as a driver is preferred but not required.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Working proficiency using Smartphone Apps,

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

Approved driving record and valid driver license with a clean record. DOT driving certificate a plus..

 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use hands and arms to prep vehicles, drive a vehicle, reach, sit, talk and hear on the telephone and in person with individuals and groups. 

 The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job includes far, near and night vision ability.
